Georgia: Skiing in Gudauri: Day 7

Foggy weather was history and we spent the whole day on skis again, below the sun, followed by a dinner with huge amounts of traditional Georgian food and wine.

Previous days of our Georgia trip: Day 6Day 5Day 4Day 3Day 2 and Day 1.

Another great day

We all enjoyed skiing on natural snow

Preparing მწვადი (mtsvadi / shashlik) at -15 °C

At the highest point of the ski resort, Mount Sadzele, 3279 m, overlooking Mount Kazbek, 5047 m. The name in Georgian, მყინვარწვერი (Mqinvartsveri), translates to "Glacier Peak" or "Freezing Cold Peak".

Too many white peaks

5-day ticket costs were 62 € (187 GEL), which is only 12,4 € per day

Kitris da Pomidvris Salata Nigvzit (salad with walnuts), Kharcho (beef soup) and some sort of goulash.

We tasted some local wine and ate khinkali

Meat with onion and Kebab with Sour Plum Sauce

Hungry Tuši and Mexican Style Potato
